This Privacy Policy explains how ISG Gaming LLC ("we," "us," "our") handles information in connection with Baby Blake's® Bedtime — including the website at babyblake.io, the web app, and the Android app distributed through Google Play, and the iOS app distributed through the Apple App Store.
Baby Blake's Bedtime is designed to collect almost nothing. We don't collect personal information from children. We don't sell or share data, and we don't run ads. Your profile and saved stories stay on your device. The only things our servers handle are: the moment-to-moment story request (a first name a grown-up picks, used and then discarded), an anonymous account that keeps track of the story credits you buy so you can restore them on a new device, and any message you choose to send us. The rest of this policy explains each of those in plain language.
When a grown-up starts a story, they enter a first name (for example, "Blake") so the child becomes the hero, and they choose a theme, a narrator voice, and an age range that sets the vocabulary difficulty. The age range is a reading-level setting only — it is not the child's real age or birthday, and we never ask for either.
These selections are sent, only for that single story-generation request, to our story provider (Anthropic) and our narration provider (ElevenLabs). The first name is used only to generate that one story and is never stored on our servers. We never ask the child for a last name, age, birthday, email, phone number, address, photo, or voice recording.
Several things live only in your device's local storage and never leave it unless you choose to act on them:
We cannot see, recover, or transfer the content stored on your device — only you can, through Settings → Clear Story Library or Delete My Data. (Your purchased credit balance is also held on our server so it can be restored; see "Your Account and Story Credits" below.)
Baby Blake's Bedtime uses a simple, anonymous account system so that the story credits you purchase stay tied to you — and so you can move them to a new device if you ever lose or replace your phone. This account is created automatically and contains no personal information about you or your child. Here is exactly how it works:
Under COPPA, a persistent identifier like this is permitted when it is used solely to support the internal operations of the app — here, keeping track of purchased credits and letting you restore them. We do not use it for advertising, profiling, or cross-context tracking of any kind. The purchase and recovery features live behind the parental gate, so they are reachable only by an adult.
Baby Blake's Bedtime includes 2 free personalized stories per account. After that, a grown-up can buy additional story credits through in-app purchase. We currently offer three credit packs: 1 story, 5 stories, and 10 stories.
On Android, all purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. We never receive, see, or store your credit-card or banking information — the app store handles all payment details under its own privacy policy. What our server receives from the store is a purchase confirmation (a purchase token and an order identifier), which we verify directly with the store before adding credits to your account, and which we keep to prevent a purchase from being counted twice. On iPhone and iPad, all purchases are processed by the Apple App Store in exactly the same way: we never receive, see, or store your payment details, and what our server receives from Apple is a purchase confirmation that we verify directly with Apple before adding credits to your account.
If a grown-up marks a story as a favorite in the library, they can choose to share it. Doing so creates a link, hosted on our servers, that makes that one story viewable for 7 days; after that the link expires and the shared copy is deleted. Sharing is always a deliberate choice — no story is ever shared automatically. Please remember that a story you share will include the first name used to personalize it, so share the link only with people you intend to.
There is one place in the app where a grown-up can choose to give us their email: the contact form (Settings → Send Feedback). When you send a message, your message and email address are delivered to us through Resend, and a notification is posted privately to our team so we can reply. This is entirely voluntary, and you can ask us to delete it anytime at privacy@babyblake.io.
We do not collect any of the following:
The one identifier the app does create is the anonymous account token described in "Your Account and Story Credits," which exists solely to operate the story-credit feature and is never used for advertising or tracking.
To understand how the app is used and to make product decisions (for example, which themes are most popular), we may review aggregated, non-identifying counts and metrics — such as "X stories were generated this week" or "Y% of stories used the Space theme." This information cannot be tied back to any individual child or parent, and we never attempt to re-identify it.
To make the app work, we rely on the providers below. None of them receive any information about your child for advertising or profiling, and all are bound by commercial terms compatible with COPPA. You can review each provider's own privacy practices on its website.
If we ever add a new provider that processes data covered by this policy, we will update this list, and for material changes we will post an in-app notice and update the version published on babyblake.io.
We rely on the data-processing terms that our service providers make part of their standard commercial agreements (often published as a Data Processing Addendum, or "DPA"), and we choose providers whose terms are compatible with COPPA. These terms are designed to require each provider to: (a) process data only on our documented instructions and solely to provide services to us; (b) implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures; (c) notify us without undue delay of any data breach affecting data processed on our behalf; (d) not use data received from us to train, improve, or develop their own models or products unless we have expressly authorized it, which we have not; (e) delete or return all data on termination of the service relationship; and (f) assist us in fulfilling data-subject rights requests, impact assessments, and regulatory inquiries.
The terms governing Anthropic and ElevenLabs — the only providers that receive content tied to your child's story session — additionally prohibit the use of prompt inputs, story outputs, and narration audio for model-training purposes.
If you have any questions about how long we keep something, email privacy@babyblake.io.
Baby Blake's Bedtime contains no advertising. We never sell, rent, or share your family's information for advertising, cross-context behavioral profiling, or any third-party marketing purpose.
Baby Blake's Bedtime is directed to children ages 1–10 and is built to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), including the 2025 amendments effective April 22, 2026. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The only persistent identifier the app creates is the anonymous account token described above, used solely to operate the story-credit feature and never for advertising or tracking. A parental gate (a math challenge) is enforced before any adults-only screen — including in-app purchases, the recovery-code screens, and the contact form. For more, see our separate COPPA Compliance Notice.
As a parent or legal guardian (or as an adult user), you have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@babyblake.io. We respond within 30 days. (Please note that deleting your server-side account also removes any unused purchased credits, which cannot be restored afterward.)
We take privacy concerns seriously and will work in good faith to resolve any issue. If you are not satisfied with how we respond to a privacy request, you have the right to contact a regulator:
We will never retaliate against anyone who exercises a privacy right or files a complaint with a regulator.
If you live in California, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA / CPRA), including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Residents of other U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws (including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and others) have the rights granted by their state's law.
Residents of the EU and UK have rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR, including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. Where Article 8 child-specific protections apply, we treat parental-consent requirements as equivalent to or stricter than US COPPA.
We honor every valid privacy-rights request received at privacy@babyblake.io within 30 days, applying the most protective standard available among applicable laws.
Your data is protected by HTTPS encryption in transit, two-factor authentication on our operator accounts, and encrypted storage of all API keys and secrets. On our server, your account holds only an anonymous token, your credit balance, purchase/order references, and a hashed (unreadable) recovery code — never a name, email, or other personal detail about your child. We limit access to these systems to our two co-founders, and we rotate credentials when access changes or a risk is identified.
Because your profile and saved stories live on your device rather than on our servers, the security of that content depends on your device's own protections (passcode, encryption, and so on). If your device is lost or stolen, you can restore your purchased credits to a new device with your recovery code, and you can clear the app's local data through your browser or device settings.
If a data breach affects any personal information we hold, we will investigate promptly, notify affected users once our investigation allows — by email where we have an address for you, and through an in-app notice — and cooperate with the FTC, state attorneys general, and other relevant authorities as required by law.
Baby Blake's Bedtime is operated from the United States. Our service-provider infrastructure (Anthropic, ElevenLabs, Google, Vercel, Upstash, Cloudinary, and Resend) is primarily located in the United States, and data you submit will be processed there. By using the app, you understand that your data may cross international borders.
If you are a parent or guardian outside the United States, you may use this app on behalf of your child. Where local law provides additional rights or stricter standards than US COPPA (for example, GDPR-K in the EU/UK), we apply the most protective standard.
Baby Blake's Bedtime is actively developed, and this policy will evolve. If we ever add a feature that collects personal information directly from a child (rather than the transient, parent-entered context described here), we will:
Our commitment is consent-first: new data collection is never enabled by default and never applied retroactively to existing users.
You can return to this Privacy Policy anytime via Settings → Privacy Policy inside the app, or by visiting babyblake.io/privacy in any browser — before, during, or after installing the app. The web version is always the current version.
We may update this policy from time to time as our practices evolve or the law changes. The dates below tell you when this version became binding. For material changes, we will post an in-app notice on your next session and update the version published on babyblake.io.
